Collection: Mulberry Silk Bed Sheets

Silk is breathable and helps regulate temperature, so it doesn't trap heat the way many synthetic fabrics can. Silk can't stop sweating completely, but it can make sleeping more comfortable if you tend to feel hot at night.

They can be. Silk is smoother than cotton, so you may notice the sheets move more, especially if you also wear silk pyjamas.

Pure silk can crease, especially after washing. Most wrinkles soften once the sheets are back on the bed. To minimise them, remove the sheets from the washing machine promptly, gently reshape them and air-dry them. If needed, iron on low heat.

Silk needs gentler care than cotton, but you can machine-wash it. Use cold water, a gentle cycle and a pH-neutral detergent suitable for silk.

Do not use bleach, fabric softeners or optical brighteners, and do not tumble dry. Air-dry away from direct sunlight.

There is no fixed number of years. It depends on how often you use and wash the sheets and how well you care for them.

Gentle washing, the correct detergent and air-drying will help them last longer. Rotating between two sets can also reduce wear.

Momme measures the weight and density of silk fabric. The higher the momme, the denser and heavier the fabric. We use 19 momme because it provides a good balance of durability, breathability and drape.

6A is the highest grade of Mulberry silk fibre. All our silk sheets are made from 6A Grade 100% Mulberry silk and are OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified.

Silk is a natural fibre, while satin is a type of weave. Satin can be made from silk, but most satin bedding is made from polyester or nylon.

Both can look shiny and feel smooth, but synthetic satin does not have the same natural breathability and temperature-regulating properties as Mulberry silk.
