Care Instructions
Care Instructions
For the quilts with TENCEL covers, we recommend using a gentle pH-neutral liquid detergent and cold water to prevent damage to the silk fibres.
For the quilts with cotton covers: the cover should be removed and washed separately as standard cotton bed linen. We don't recommend washing the silk filling. Dry clean (no trichloroethylene!) it instead.

I recently purchased 6A Grade 100% mulberry silk quilts, and it was a fantastic deal. The quilt is lightweight yet very warm, making it perfect for Melbourne winters. The bundle also includes a summer quilt, which will be ideal for the warmer months.
As a lover of silk quilts, I previously had a Queen-sized silk quilt. Since upgrading my bed to a King size, I decided to upgrade my quilt to a King-sized silk quilt as well. Thank you for providing such a great product!

I am absolutely delighted with both the quilt and quilt cover. i and my partner are an older couple and we no longer like heavy bedding. the silk quilts are comfortable, warm and feel amazing to the skin and look wonderful. i was delighted the quilts fitted our super king sized bed perfectly. i will certainly order another quilt cover if mine gets accidentally damaged.

These silk quilts are beautifully made, and are lovely to sleep under - the feeling is definitely different from being under blankets or a feather doona. They suited my husband beautifully but sadly I was still too hot even under the summer weight doona, even when the overnight low was 13 degrees. I'd been longing to try a silk doona for the temperature regulation - but unfortunately they didn't suit me. So in summary I think they are a high quality product with a beautiful feel. Whilst they don't suit me, I will feel that they will be a treat for our guests to sleep under.

Thank you for your kind words about our silk quilt! I'm sorry that it didn't perfectly suit you. Our quilts are indeed the lightest silk quilts available in Australia.
The only better option for you (I can think of) is to use a silk flat sheet instead of a quilt (especially during warmer months). It offers a lighter feel while still providing the luxurious touch of silk.

I recently purchased these quilts and was hoping that they lived up to the hype and not another epic Internet failure on my behalf. This was not so as they are certainly as described totally luxurious, warm and a joy to sleep under even in our very cold Canberra winters . I would not hesitate to recommend them .

The Lightest Silk Quilt in Australia
Designed specifically for hot sleepers, our summer quilts with a TENCEL cover are the lightest silk quilts on the Australian market - a Queen size quilt weighs less than 2 kg.
Based on the feedback we receive from our customers, these quilts are also the ideal choice for women going through menopausal or post-menopausal transition.
Finally! You can stop night sweats and overheating and sleep peacefully without feeling too hot, no matter the temperature.
What Makes Our Silk Quilts Stand Out
Superior materials
You may wonder why our silk quilts are priced slightly higher than some of our competitors. The answer is simple - we only use the highest quality materials.
- Our quilts are filled with 6A Grade Mulberry silk, the world's finest and most expensive silk.
- Our cotton covers are manufactured from 400TC (thread count) 100% Cotton, a higher grade than the industry standard of 200-300TC.
- For TENCEL covers, we use the original fabric produced by Lenzing, the leading European textile manufacturer.
Exceptional craftsmanship
Among the most modern in China, our manufacturing facility utilises advanced techniques and processes and employs highly skilled personnel.
The attention to detail, from quilting and piping to packaging, contributes to the overall excellence of silk quilts.
Two cover materials - for a reason
Cotton is an excellent fabric for a quilt cover, which absorbs very little moisture during sleep, making it a perfect choice for people with dry or normal skin.
For those with sensitivities, a cotton cover can cause itchy, cracked, and irritated skin. So, we designed our silk quilts with a TENCEL cover, especially for people with sensitive skin (and allergies).
The only silk quilt in Australia of its type
We've introduced a unique design that allows you to remove the cotton cover and wash it separately from the silk filling.
We still recommend using a separate quilt cover, but our cotton cover provides the perfect protector for the silk filling.
Washing a silk quilt is now a breeze! You don't need to be a laundry expert. Just remove the cover, toss it in the washing machine and wash it as you would normally wash any cotton items.
The lightest silk quilt on the market
Our Summer silk quilt with a TENCEL cover is the lightest on the Australian market.
With only 150 GSM and an actual weight of less than 2 kg, it's a perfect solution to stay cool even during the hottest summer nights.
Customer service we are proud of
We are a small Australian-owned and operated family business. We don't have offshore call centres to answer phone calls and don't use chatbots to handle online enquiries.
We are personally here for you. Just get in touch if you have any questions or need any assistance.
Did we mention that we don't dropship? All our products are dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse.
How to insert your silk quilt into a cover
- Unzip the quilt cover, turn it inside out and place it on the bed.
- Put the summer silk quilt on top of the cover and tie the strings to the quilt loops (4 in the corners and 4 on the sides).
- Roll up the quilt together with the cover from top to bottom.
- Pull the corners through from the inside so the bottom of the quilt is now inside the cover and roll it back out.
- Zip it up and - VOILÀ - you're all set!

5. Elegance
Silk quilts ooze elegance. Their timeless beauty and high quality craftsmanship add a touch of sophistication to any bedroom.
6. Longevity
Despite the higher price tag than many lower-quality budget quilts, a silk quilt comes with one catch - with proper care, it will last for many years, longer than other quilts that may require more frequent replacement.
